1-on-1 Coaching
Parent Coaching
Your Parenting is My Passion
In 2006, I was at the end of my rope with one of my teenage children. At that point it felt like I had read every book on parenting, attended the best seminars, and sought the assistance of wise pastors and counselors trying to gain perspective on what my husband and I were doing wrong. I was desperate to find answers and hope. I’ll be the first to admit that fear had a firm grip on my thinking. The choices our child was making could have devastating consequences for the future.
Shortly after we took some drastic steps as a family my phone started ringing. On the other end were parents who were in trouble. They had heard our story and were seeking answers. I was privileged to walk beside them which brought me confidence and healing. My perspective changed as I began to realize that I was not the only mother dealing with tough situations.
Parents everywhere are struggling with family issues – doubt, anxiety, guilt, and fear can paralyze them. They blame themselves or their child for what is happening in their home and that’s what can hold them back. Communication during conflict can be a key issue as well as a lack of confidence that creates inconsistency in their parenting.
I believe that God has given us exactly what we need to parent the children He has given us. I also believe that he uses them to shape us to become who He wants us to be. We have to be willing to do the work.
Are you ready to begin?
I want to help you become the best parent you can be for your children. The work can be hard. It takes intention and perseverance. But I’ll be right here with you, creating a safe space for you to unload your struggles. I’ll help you design a vision that aligns with your values. We’ll focus on better communication during parental conflict and help you gain awareness of things that might be holding you back. We’ll explore the parent you want to be and look for areas of opportunity in your parenting style.
If you are ready to change your family’s future, let’s talk. I want to be here for you. It’s my calling. It’s my passion. Sometime you just want to feel normal again and I can help you gain perspective as someone who has been there.
This journey takes the first step down the path, be courageous.

Group Coaching For Moms
GOT TWEENS, TEENS & TWENTY-SOMETHINGS?
A Setting for Growth Unlike Any Other
God designed women for connection and sometimes that’s hard – especially when our kids make choices that go against the values we’ve tried to instill. As moms, the choices our kids make affect us – deeply. We’re afraid to share our fears because we’re afraid of the judgment from other women. We want our kids to be seen in a positive light so we hold back. That’s why we choose to remain silent in our pain and insecurity.
Or maybe your parenting has been fairly smooth sailing, but if you could strengthen your relationship with your teen and God so that you truly knew you were being the best parent you could be, wouldn’t that put your mind at ease as you move toward launch?
That’s the reason Debbie has designed this group coaching session for moms. It is purposely created to be a safe place. Debbie’s experience as a trainer levels the playing field quickly. In the group, you will meet women who want to be better moms and finish the race God has set before them with confidence.
Debbie uses her book With All Due Respect: 40 Days to a More Fulfilling Relationship with your Teens & Tweens as the basis for starting the discussion. In addition, Debbie facilitates self-discovery exercises that will help design your next steps as you create deeper relationships within your family.
Each group meets for nine weeks via Zoom for 75 minutes each week. You can invite your friends or your Bible Study group for a closed session or you can let Debbie know that you would like to join an open group and she will add you to the list when an opening is available.
In addition, Debbie offers the ELI Assessment to those in the group who would like to better understand how they show up with their family on their good days and under stress. This is an optional additional session for each participant.
Investment: $49/participant + book purchase
Optional Investment: $125 for ELI Assessment and feedback
