I’ve been there.
Struggling as a parent.
Not sure where to turn.
For me, my Christian values said this shouldn’t be happening to our family. After all, I knew I was a good parent – so was my husband.
So where was the disconnect?
I did everything I knew to do. Counseling for my teen, counseling for my husband and me, books on parenting, relationships, and conflict, training seminars with notes that filled stacks of notebooks, communication training, and lots of prayer.
If it hadn’t been for the wisdom of a special counselor in our lives, I’m not sure I would have survived. It was because of all he taught me that I’ve chosen to become a certified professional coach. Coaching is about taking steps to move forward and my heart’s desire is to help you do that—just like the counselor did with our family.
What I bring into coaching is perspective. I’ve been where you are and I’ve shed the tears. I’ve experienced the positive changes that can happen in family dynamics and I’ve also had to live with the heartache when things don’t go as planned and it’s too late to have impact. I’m willing to get in the boat with you to help you figure out what might work with your teen in your family situation. It’s training and coaching tailored to your needs. I want to connect in a way that will give you hope.
